Why we selected it
The ecobee Smart Thermostat Premium combines temperature control, an included SmartSensor, and indoor air-quality information in one interface. It is a consumer-facing way to improve awareness and control of your home's environment.
Confirm the fit
For compatible 24V heating and cooling systems. Check your wiring and system against ecobee's compatibility checker before ordering. Wi-Fi, internet access, and an ecobee account are required for connected features. A Power Extender Kit is included for compatible installations without a C-wire.
What you receive
Model EB-STATE6P-01: Smart Thermostat Premium, SmartSensor, mounting components, installation accessories and setup instructions. No separate alarm panel is required for thermostat operation.
Installation and optional services
Self-install using the manufacturer's instructions if your system is compatible and you are comfortable with the work, or use your HVAC installer. Installation is not included. Some security features require a separate ecobee Smart Security subscription; basic thermostat operation does not.
What it does not do
This thermostat is not a smoke or carbon-monoxide detector, water-leak sensor, or automatic water shutoff. It does not establish whole-home protection or guarantee an insurance discount.
