Before you buy

Remote alerts require Wi-Fi, internet, a compatible phone, a Resideo account and the app. Bluetooth is used during setup. Local battery-powered alerts do not depend on an internet connection; remote alerts do. This is not a monitored emergency-response service.

What it detects

Water at the detector or sensing cable, plus temperature and humidity conditions. A 100 dBA local alarm and LED help identify a leak. Automatic shutoff requires a separately purchased compatible valve and appropriate installation; no valve or plumbing service is included.

Power and placement

Powered by two included AA batteries. Place the detector and 5-foot cable where water is likely to collect, connect it in the app, and test alerts before relying on them. Check batteries and test periodically. Dimensions: 3.9 × 2.0 × 1.1 inches. Operating range: 32°F–131°F; 5–95% non-condensing humidity; IP44. Do not immerse the device.
